CARY, N.C. – Eric Hobbs, president of Technology Associates (www.technologyassociates.net), a full-service technology solutions and support firm, has announced that Justin Worrell, an associate network engineer, has achieved the Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician Designation (MCDST). This certification proves Worrell’s ability to successfully troubleshoot desktop environments that run on the Windows operating system, and shows that he has the necessary skills to educate users and help them solve hardware and software problems on the Windows platform.

Worrell earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Prior to joining Technology Associates, he obtained hands-on exposure to a variety of technological disciplines while developing novel semiconductor processes for light emitting diodes at Cree, Inc. in Raleigh. Additionally, he served as an Internet Technology technician at Meridian Networks. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional, as well as A+, Network+ and Security+ certified. A native of Greenville, Worrell resides in Apex with his wife, Kristi.
