Meet Wes – InSight Implementer

Wes FieldsWe’ve been lucky enough to have Wes Fields with us at Technology Associates for three years.

He represents a key step in the InSight process and embodies our commitment to growth and learning. Read on to hear Wes’s take on InSight and learn more about how a Project Implementer helps our clients.

Q. What do you bring to the team here at TA?

My role at TA is that of InSight Implementer (or Project Implementer). Once your business goals and objectives have been identified by our Chief InSight Officer, your project moves over to the Implementation phase. I make sure any projects get installed smoothly, on time and well documented for our Support Team.

Q. What inspires you about your work?

IT is all about knowledge and we all know knowledge is power. The constant learning process involved in Project Implementation is what inspires me to come to work every single day.
“Learning never exhausts the mind.” – Leonardo da Vinci

Q. Tell us a little bit about your background in IT.

I have worked in IT for 8 years now and it’s been my passion and desire since middle school. While the path to my passion has changed over the years, the end goal has not. I firmly believe in the InSight process and that is why I have been with the company going on 3 years. TA showed me the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to managing IT. My current certifications include:

  • CompTIA A+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • CompTIA Security +
  • Microsoft Certified Professional

Q. What do you do for fun outside of all the fun we have at TA?

Wes: I participate in Professional Disc Golf Association tournaments and love to go bowling.

Wes is an invaluable asset to our team and his passion for learning is inspiring to all of us.

“Wes wouldn’t say it himself so I will. He is a key member of our team and exemplifies our core values each and every day. When I think of Wes, I’m always impressed by his ability to get things done – there are never any excuses. When things don’t go as planned, he just takes it in stride, sets expectations and gets back to work.”

– Eric Hobbs, CEO, Technology Associates
