Eric Hobbs

President

Eric Hobbs founded Technology Associates in 1997, and specializes in the long-term strategic direction of the company. He heads up the management team and works to find outstanding businesses that will benefit from the results our process delivers. His expertise lies in understanding our customers’ business needs, and creating solutions to meet those needs for greater efficiency and effectiveness when it comes to their IT. Eric holds a BS in Management from NC State University and brings 22 years of experience to our team – making him the IT professional our clients count on for technology and business acumen they can trust.

Jeff Doggendorf

V.P. of Engineering Services

Jeff Doggendorf manages our engineering team, as well as the delivery of our proactive services, allowing Technology Associates to provide greater value for our customers. With 12 years of IT industry experience, Jeff holds a B.S. in Marketing from York College and has previous work experience as a network engineer, system administrator and network administrator. Jeff understands the business needs of our customers, and works to create solutions that help them meet their long-term goals.

Heather Ficquette

Office Manager

Since 2009, Heather Ficquette has overseen many parts of our business, including managing cash flow, executing marketing plans, hardware sales, purchasing and customer relations. She is currently a junior at NC State in the Parks, Recreation & Tourism Program, and holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Management from American Intercontinental University Online. Heather also has seven years of property management experience and in her free time enjoys event planning, refinishing furniture and spending time with her Miniature Schnauzer, Stella.

Nestor Vives

Support Services Manager

Nestor Vives serves in a primary leadership role for our Support Services Team, and manages adherence to our service metrics while maintaining our process-driven standards of excellence. He is responsible for implementing standards for continuous improvement of our IT Support Services, with an emphasis on proactive planning. In this role, Nestor promotes a customer-focused support model with strict accountability to delivering effective IT support services. As part of the management team he is responsible for the company-wide design and implementation of hardware, software, and support process standards. Nestor brings our company 15 years of IT industry experience and offers expertise in a wide range of technology solutions. He also served 13 years in the United States Army and is the expert we count on for deep IT knowledge and continuing professional development.
