Our Cold Weather Coat And Food Drive Is Heating Up!

After feeling especially grateful for such a great year in 2014, we wanted to take an opportunity to give to those who may not have so much to be grateful for.

And with that, we have organized a coat drive and food drive with donations going to the Raleigh Rescue Mission. Raleigh Rescue Mission helps those in need, right here in our area, in a multitude of ways; but for our purposes, we knew they would do a great job putting warm jackets and food straight into the hands of those who are in need.

Not really. It was Friday, December 5th, but the festive holiday spirit, delicious good, and great company could have had me fooled! With our significant others in hand, we walked through the bustling streets of downtown Apex past the warmly dressed families and admired the holiday lights at the Apex Christmas Tree lighting as we made our way to Peak City Grill.

And with that, the night had officially begun! We celebrated individual successes, welcomed those who joined us this year and thanked those who had been with us the longest. We took a moment to be thankful that our friend and coworker, Melanie Halloran, totally kicked cancer’s butt this year!
